  2. @Ohgimmeabreakwillya Doctor RAND PAUL is only a Doctor in Kentucky, anywere else, he is a NOTHING. He is NOT recognised by the American Medical Association. He is on the KY Board of Doctors, so he fixed it for himself to be called a doctor when in other states he is a FRAUD. He is a jumped up Optician

SO many dishonest liars, dumbasses, scaremongerers and dirty fighters.

They win by making outrageous claims to their rivals.

Sharron Angle called for Harry Reid to be SHOT!

  4. the Canadian health care system kills with long waits, you wait yrs for a simple MRI; then you get put on another wait list; they even have wait lists to be put on a wait list; I know because my mother died waiting; I would rather be broke and alive; I paid huge taxes in Canada for no medical care. Canada`s Universal healthcare is SICK; and kills; Last week my friends 45 yr old brother died from waiting for heart surgery;
Doctors who are guilty of BLATANT malpractice, should b held accountabl

  6. People should be responsible for their own healthcare, not insurance companies and not government. Nuff said.

  7. Dear Doc.Ron Paul,

before saying a blatant LIE as “It doesn’t work much elsewhere” ask Europeans like me cause we would ALL tell you that we’re truly HAPPY about our so called “socialized” (LOL) medicine over here, cause It works and we have no problems paying the taxes for it..It’s surely better then pay 400$ a month like in the US and then receving a letter of “denial” from the insurance company for a legitimate medical procedure. What a sick system you guys have..

“Okay.. so. the government is to blame for high corperate healthcare costs?”

Um, yes? Ron Paul is right here. Accept it. We don’t have a “mortgage care” or “food care” because if we did, everyone would starve and be out on the streets.

  9. @theone1087 u think it’s all fine and dandy until we have a post WWI germany economic collapse and the dollar aint worth shit and is instead used to fuel fire (LITERALLY)
    or a soviet style collapse..

  10. @theone1087 again u don’t understand that it’s not real money. do u have ANY idea how the fractional reserve banking system works?!!!
those statistics are presented as if they were cold hard facts. but their not.
my personal expenses would be fine as well if i borrowed a million dollars every month, but someday the bill will be come to.
2nd these countries don’t have the overseas spending we do maintaining our empire which only increases our debt.

  11. @baezalejandro Yeah sure every single industrialized nation has universal healthcare. We pay 16% of our GDP on healthcare expenditures but yet get the least service. Others countries pay far less as a share of GDP and yet cover everyone. Europe and Japan are far healthier than the U.S. and yet you still ideologically bash known statistics. Funny how an aristocratic Jew who never worked with his hands (Ludwig von Mises) convinced poor whites to believe in the ridiculous notion of “his”economics.

  12. @theone1087 lol u blame the free market but fail to realize that centralized healthcare only gives the power to the government and a HANDFUL of CORPORATIONS.
which leads to poor service, higher prices, and bigger government.
universal healthcare don’t work. it’s all created from FALSE MONEY produced by the fractional reserve banking system.
i suggest u look at the debt

  13. Okay.. so. the government is to blame for high corperate healthcare costs? RP makes some good points about the fed reserve etc… but i personally believe certain institutions such as schools, law enforcement, prisons and yes, certain provisions for healthcare should be in the hands of elected officals. not some corperate entity. as these institutions are supposed to help people and benifit society. If they were all privatized they would be about profit and would do anything to to get it..

  15. Dumb free-market brainwashed Ron Paul. Yeah sure, if this guy cannot see the conflict of interest of capitalist “healthcare” markets than he is dumber than is son looks. This guy has been brainwashed through some defunct school of Economics “Austrian” so-called which longs for the poverty of the Industrial Revolution. Yes I’m sure Ron Paul didn’t mind taking Medicare recipients for his practice and cashing in on them. People like this need to disappear by any means necessary.

  16. America doesn’t have real free market healthcare. If it did, then I’m sure that the competion between doctors, medical companies etc… Would both improve the quallity (because everyone wants to be better), and it would get the prices down (because smaller costs will attrackt more customers). Adam Smith explained the free market perfectly!

  18. @fight2Bfree You are right about the “current system.”More care is not better care as the Dartmouth study has proven. The Mayo Clinic with the Dartmouth study recommendation to compensate based on “value” rather than number of procedures is on the right track. I don’t agree with completely removing incentive system, as that will discourage the talented from becoming doctors. Obama doesn’t get it and neither does Dr. Paul.

  20. The way to fix healthcare is to reward the healthcare industry for every healthy person and penalize them for everyone that gets sick. If such a system was set up, the nation would transform into a healthy robust population within a generation. The current system is designed to keep people sick and medicated for life. .

  21. @fieldman07 “Everbody with” is the same as “Nobody without.” What part of that are you having difficulty in comprehending. Its simple. If English is not your problem, then logic is. You made a logically unsound observation…you should thank me for pointing it out for you. You are welcome. Don’t show yourself as an obedient follower of a POLITICIAN like Ron Paul. IIt is beneath you. Is there anything you disagree with Paul about? Or are you just another blind follower?

  22. @qigong1001
“but if English is your second language”
You’re the one who doesn’t understand English. I said that RP never said that “everyone could afford care”. You knew that you were wrong so you changed the wording from “everyone could afford care” to “no one went without”. You made a big deal out of something he didn’t say. Now you are insulting me for something i never even said. You’re just spouting bullshit because you know you’re wrong.

    28 Nov 10 at 11:38 pm

  23. @fieldman07 Simple logic dictates that “nobody without” is the same as “everybody with.” Either way the meaning is exactly the same. Feel free to criticize, but if English is your second language and you can’t comprehend the difference then I can’t help you. Nitpicking is not an acceptable argument. It is also a fallacy, that charities can take care of all or most who can’t afford healthcare. If you don’t understand “fallacy” please look it up before responding.

  24. @qigong1001
You said that he said “every one could afford care”

You just admitted that he didn’t say that. He was saying that those without medical care would get taken care of by charities.
