Illness Symptom Checker

without comments

The symptoms of disease are treated by medical science. Of course any given illness’s symptoms can tell you about the disease, yet you cannot know much of the cause by treating the symtoms. To prevent from illness and disease, you must discover the causes and make the wrongs be rights. Despite all appearance, exterior condition are not the causes for disease, illness and health. Insteads, mental and emotional states which change and alter the physical structure are the roots of disease.

Medical science tells us that the cause of illness and disease is due to environmental factors, bad habits like smoking, over eating, poor diet, genetic abnormalities, viruses and any number of other external factors.

It is the opinion of this author that the reasons for disease are not to be found in a laboratory or research clinic but that the knowledge of the causes are within our minds.

This statement may seem ludicrous to many of you but I challenge you not to dismiss this premise before you read the whole article and digest what I have to say.

Despite all appearances, exterior conditions do not cause disease, illness and bad health. The causes of disease are rooted in mental and emotional states that change and alter the physical structure. Science would surely find such a concept not worthy of serious consideration because mental states, i.e. thoughts and beliefs are not considered real in the same sense that physical objects are. Thoughts have an electro-magnetic charge and structure however, and can be measured in terms of energy. The mental creates the physical, not the other way around.

Outbreaks of food poisoning in Tunisian hotels have increased during the past two years and holidaymakers have complained of diarrhoea and sickness after eating contaminated food. Salmonella has also been confirmed during the past 12 months at hotels in Tunisia and holidaymakers have also been taken ill with Cryptosporidium caused by swimming in dirty swimming pools.

Yoga After An Illness

without comments

After an illness, your doctor often will suggest tips to stay well which include both dietary and exercise ideas. Yoga is a nice option as it has gentle poses that can benefit someone without being too difficult for beginners. It also is excellent to relieve stress. Breathing helps the body both to relax and to expand it’s lung capacity. The mind gets trained to let go and this gets applied to daily situations. Many physical conditions are worsened by stress and these include high blood pressure and problems with respiration.

Flexibility is improved by yoga and this enables one to have more balance in daily life. This is also important because having a greater range of motion can help to prevent strains and muscular issues. Becoming more flexibile is also very empowering. When you are able to turn your head an additional inch or so while looking to the side during driving, it is a wonderful feeling of expansion.

Also being able to reach a bit higher in one’s kitchen is a very rewarding feeling that often results after stretching for a period of time.

Increased energy is something many people speak about needing when recovering from an illness. Yoga helps increase energy by breathing exercises and the visualizations that enable one to stop carrying emotional weight each day. We often get our energy depleted because we review painful situations over and over again or live in the future rather than the present.

Illness and Misdiagnosis

without comments

People often understand that illnesses and infections are common occurrences that can arise at any time during a person’s life. While most people attempt to avoid illness by eating well, exercising, and staying away from others who exhibit contagious symptoms, it is nearly impossible to avoid becoming ill completely.

In the event of sickness, people have several different options for recovery. Minor illnesses can usually be treated by rest and over-the-counter medications. In the event of infection or serious sickness, people may turn to trusted medical professionals for treatment and recovery. The effectiveness of medical treatment often depends on a proper and correct diagnosis on the part of the doctor or physician, and if an illness is misdiagnosed, serious injury may occur.

Individuals often place a high level of trust in their physicians and may be afraid to question their assessment if incorrect.

If a doctor fails to properly diagnose an illness, the patient may suffer further injuries. Prescribed medication may not work correctly if it is issued for the wrong type of sickness, and failure to quickly treat some symptoms can result in pain and suffering for the patient.

In the case of severe infection, patients may have a limited time to treat the symptoms before the infection causes severe damage to tissues and bodily functions. Fevers and other symptoms can cause irreversible damage to the tissues of the body and can cause serious pain to the patient if left untreated. It is because of these factors that doctors and medical professionals should pay close attention to their patients’ complaints.

Cure for Mental Illness

without comments

A person suffering with severe bipolar disorder shoplifts an armload of clothing during an attack of acute mania. He or she is sent to prison, to co-exist with gangbangers, rapists, and murderers. Or, perhaps worse, to live in a solitary cell with no human interaction, for 23 out of 24 hours each day. The acute mania shifts to severe depression.

In my practice, I have met many misconceptions about mental illness from patients and their relatives. I can’t blame them. Mental illness has not been understood for a while. In fact, it has created a stigma that people dismiss its importance and its impact in their lives. Some even hide their emotional difficulties from the scrutiny of their close friends and loved ones.

The Cure for Mental Illness is not one specific cure, but having suffered greatly in the past and now tasting freedom, I know there is a cure.

It’s not a formula, but it is using the biblical tools God leads you to use. It’s a combination of things converging for YOUR freedom (or the release of a loved one or friend.) It’s a prescription from the Great Physician, Dr. Jesus Christ.

Integral to educating people about mental illness is dispelling myths. Hayes points out that mothers do not cause mental problems in their children, although their depression may affect a child’s development of it. However, it is just as likely a mother can prevent mental problems in her child. Hayes states, “Nurture mental wellness in a new mother and she then can nurture it in the child.

Critical Illness Insurance Policy

without comments

Critical Illness Insurance Policy: In this plan, the insured receives a lump sum amount within a few days of diagnosing a critical illness, Once this lump sum is paid, the plan ceases to exist.

Some insurers insist on the insured surviving for a pre-defined period (typically 30 days) post-diagnosis before they honor the claim.

Some insurers offer critical illness plans with the alternative option of receiving claims payment in installments over a period of 5 years (the choice needs to be made at the time of making the claim). Such policies provide long term cover of 10 years to 30 years.

Typically, once a claim has been made no more premiums have to be paid and the plan ceases.

However, some insurers provide the insured with a choice of continuing the plan for the remaining critical illnesses for a lower sum assured and revised premium rates.

Illnesses covered by Critical Illness plans

Typically, a critical illness plan would provide cover for the below mentioned illnesses:

Aorta graft surgery
Cancer
Coronary artery bypass surgery
First heart attack
Kidney failure
Major organ transplant
Multiple sclerosis
Paralysis
Primary pulmonary arterial hypertension
Stroke

When does the Critical Illness plan not cover the illnesses?

The critical illness plan will not offer coverage if the insured person has been suffering from the specified illnesses at the time of purchasing the insurance policy or if care, treatment, or advice was recommended.
